C1 CMS Versions supported

This package requires CMS version 6.1 or newer (Build: 6.1.6325.31805).

Pre-Installation Steps

If you are going to access blog posts via Web API, you need to install:

• Composite.AspNet.WebAPI

Installation steps

1. Log into the CMS Console as an administrator.
2. Go to the "System" perspective.
3. Open the folders “Packages” | “Available Packages” | " Composite.Community".
4. Select " Composite.Community.Blog" and click “Install”.
5. Complete the wizard.

Notifying the blog author of a new comment

To send notifications by email to the author of a blog entry every time a new comment is posted:

1. Configure the email notifications outside Orckestra CMS, with the third-party comment system in use.
   
2. Specify a valid email address when adding an author.
