Getting your AddThis Profile ID

Before you can use the AddThis functions, you should:

1. Register with AddThis at https://www.addthis.com/register.
2. Get the profile ID:
   1. Open the dashboard http://www.addthis.com/dashboard,
   2. Then click "..." (ellipsis) on the dashboard menu
   3. Find your ID, e.g. 'xa-4dbaa23f4bdb7818'.
3. Add and configure the buttons (see below).

You will use it in the ProfileId parameter of the Orckestra.Social.AddThis functions (see below).

Configuring buttons

You should also add and configure share and follow buttons in your AddThis profile:

1. Open the dashboard http://www.addthis.com/dashboard
2. Click "Tools" on the dashboard menu.
3. Click "Add New Tool".
4. Click "Share Buttons" or "Follow Buttons".
5. Configure and customize the buttons.

How to add the AddThis buttons on a page

1. Edit a page.
2. Insert:
   1. the "AddThis Share Buttons" or "AddThis Follow Buttons" component (Components > Social),
   2. or the Orckestra.Social.AddThis.ShareButtons or Orckestra.Social.AddThis.FollowButtons function ( Insert > Function),
   3. or the following code:

3. Specify your profile ID in the ProfileId parameter.
