- Set up email host on the website.
- Install the Forms Renderer add-on.
- Install the Event Calendar add-on.
- Create a page that will host the event calendar.
- Create a custom location.
- Specify its Name, Address and Info URL.
- Add an event with the location from Task 2.
- Provide short and long description.
- Set up the event so that people could sign up for it. Use “Standard signup”.
- Edit “Standard signup”.
- Specify the sender’s name and email address.
- Create a custom signup configuration.
- Specify the sender’s name and email address.
- Specify the internal notification email address.
- Customize the email notification messages.
- Make sure participants will receive these notifications.
- Create a global data type “Demo.Signup” with these fields: “Name” (string (64)), “Email” (string (64)), “Company” (string (64)) and “Country” (string (64)).
- Edit the custom signup configuration from Task 5.
- Set the “Demo.Signup” data type as the signup data type.
- Make sure the signup data events are monitored and temporary event data is deleted when obsolete.
- Create an event that uses this signup configuration.
- Open the event calendar’s page in a browser and sign up for the event from Task 3.
